Raising Cane’s Menu Prices at a Glance

Raising Cane’s might have the shortest menu of any major chain in America, and that is the whole point. Todd Graves opened the first restaurant in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 1996, named it after his yellow Labrador, Raising Cane, and built it around one idea: chicken fingers done properly. There are no burgers, no salads and no grilled options. Just hand battered tenders, crinkle cut fries, Texas toast, coleslaw, lemonade and the sauce that people drive across town for.

The prices below are typical in store figures gathered from menu boards and pricing trackers across several US markets in October 2026. Most Raising Cane’s restaurants are company operated, so prices are more consistent than at franchise chains, but big city and airport locations still charge more. Delivery apps add another 15 to 30 percent.

Quick answer: The Box Combo with four chicken fingers, fries, coleslaw, Texas toast, Cane’s Sauce and a 22 oz drink is about $11.49. The Caniac Combo with six fingers is about $16.59, and the 3 Finger Combo is about $9.59.

Raising Cane’s Combos

Every combo is built from the same few pieces. The difference is how many fingers you get and whether coleslaw and a large drink are included. All combos come with at least one Cane’s Sauce.

Combo What you get Price Calories
3 Finger Combo 3 fingers, fries, Texas toast, 1 sauce, 22 oz drink $9.59 1,050 to 1,480
Sandwich Combo 3 fingers on a bun with lettuce and sauce, fries, 22 oz drink $10.29 1,140 to 1,570
Box Combo 4 fingers, fries, coleslaw, Texas toast, 1 sauce, 22 oz drink $11.49 1,290 to 1,720
Caniac Combo 6 fingers, fries, coleslaw, Texas toast, 2 sauces, 32 oz drink $16.59 1,840 to 2,470
Which combo is the best value? The Box Combo is the one most people order and the best balance of food and price. The Caniac works out slightly cheaper per finger and includes a second sauce and a larger drink, so it is the better buy if you are hungry or splitting it.

You can swap the coleslaw for an extra piece of Texas toast or extra fries at most locations at no charge, and you can ask for no slaw, extra sauce or a different drink without trouble.

Kids Combo

Kids Meal Price Calories
Kids Combo (2 fingers, fries, 1 sauce, 12 oz drink) $6.69 650 to 880

The kids meal is designed for children 12 and under and often comes with a small toy or activity.

Tailgates for Groups

Tailgates are Cane’s party packs. Order them ahead through the app or by phone, since large orders take time to fry. Fries are sold separately in tailgate portions, and sauce comes by the cup or in a larger container.

What Is in Cane’s Sauce?

Cane’s Sauce is the reason the menu works. The company keeps the exact recipe secret, but it is a creamy, peppery sauce in the comeback sauce family, built on mayonnaise and ketchup with garlic, black pepper and Worcestershire. Every combo comes with at least one cup, extra cups are cheap, and the Sauce Tailgate is the easiest way to get enough for a party.

Cane’s does not offer other dipping sauces as standard, so if you want ranch or barbecue you will need to bring your own.

Raising Cane’s Hours

Raising Cane’s opens for lunch and stays open late, which makes it a popular late night stop. There is no breakfast menu.

Day Opens Closes Notes
Sunday to Thursday 10:00am to 10:30am Midnight to 1:00am Drive thru often open later
Friday and Saturday 10:00am to 10:30am 1:00am to 3:00am Busiest late at night near colleges

How to Order at Raising Cane’s for Less

Join the Caniac Club in the Raising Cane’s app for sign up and birthday rewards, and order there rather than through a delivery service, which marks prices up. If two people are eating, one Caniac Combo plus an extra Texas toast is usually cheaper than two Box Combos and still feeds both reasonably well.

For groups, Tailgates bring the price per finger well below combo prices. A 25 finger Tailgate costs about $1.68 per finger, against nearly $2.90 in a Box Combo. Add a gallon of lemonade or tea instead of individual drinks.

Raising Cane’s Nutrition Notes

A Box Combo with a regular soda lands between about 1,300 and 1,700 calories, and the Caniac can pass 2,400. The chicken itself is only about 130 calories a finger. The fries, Texas toast and especially Cane’s Sauce add most of the rest, with each cup of sauce close to 190 calories. Use our calorie calculator to see what share of your day a combo takes.

To keep it lighter, order the 3 Finger Combo with unsweet tea, share a sauce, and swap toast for coleslaw. There are no grilled or low calorie items on the menu, so portion size is the main lever.
