Dutch Bros Menu Prices at a Glance

Dutch Bros started as a pushcart in Grants Pass, Oregon in 1992 and now runs well over a thousand stands. There are no dining rooms. Every location is a drive-thru with a walk-up window, and orders are taken by a person with a tablet who walks down the car line rather than through a speaker box.

The menu is built around customisation, so the board lists bases and the crew builds from there. Prices below are national averages across several states. Stands are a mix of company operated and franchised and set their own pricing, with newer markets in the east and south running higher than the original west coast stands.

Quick answer: A medium Dutch Fave is about $5.45 and a medium Rebel about $5.65. Cup sizes differ between hot and cold: a medium hot is 16 ounces, a medium iced is 24. Alternative milks are free. Food is limited to Muffin Tops and packaged snacks.

Dutch Bros Cup Sizes

This trips up more people than anything else on the menu. Hot and cold drinks use completely different cup ladders, so a medium iced is half again the size of a medium hot for a similar price. If value per ounce matters, order iced.

Size Hot Iced or Blended Notes
Kids 10 oz 10 oz Caffeine free
Small 12 oz 16 oz All drinks
Medium 16 oz 24 oz All drinks
Large 20 oz 32 oz All drinks
Extra Large 24 oz 44 oz Not at every stand

The 44 ounce iced cup is widely available. The 24 ounce hot is not, so check with your stand before ordering an extra large coffee.

Dutch Faves, the Signature Drinks

These are the drinks the chain is known for, and most are breve based, meaning half and half rather than milk. The Annihilator and the Golden Eagle account for a large share of everything sold. The 9-1-1 exists for one reason, which is caffeine: it carries six shots against the usual two.

Dutch Fave Small Medium Large
Annihilator, chocolate macadamia breve $4.75 $5.45 $6.15
Caramelizer, caramel and chocolate milk $4.75 $5.45 $6.15
Kicker, Irish cream breve $4.75 $5.45 $6.15
Cocomo, coconut and chocolate $4.75 $5.45 $6.15
White Chocolate Mocha $4.75 $5.45 $6.15
Golden Eagle, vanilla and caramel drizzle $4.95 $5.65 $6.35
Picture Perfect, raspberry white chocolate $4.95 $5.65 $6.35
Double Torture, extra shots and chocolate macadamia $5.25 $5.95 $6.65
9-1-1, six shots with Irish cream $5.25 $5.95 $6.65

Every Fave can be ordered hot, iced or blended at the same price. Blended costs nothing extra, which is unusual, and it is the reason so many regulars default to it.

Classic Coffee and Espresso

The plain end of the menu is cheaper than most people expect, because the chain makes its margin on the Faves and the Rebels. An americano at under three dollars for a small undercuts every national coffee chain.

Drink Small Medium Large
Americano $2.75 $3.35 $3.95
Cold Brew $3.75 $4.45 $5.15
Latte $3.95 $4.65 $5.35
Breve $4.25 $4.95 $5.65
Nitro Cold Brew $4.25 $4.95 $5.65
Mocha $4.25 $4.95 $5.65

Rebel Energy Drinks

Blue Rebel is the chain's own energy drink base, and the Rebel line is now a bigger seller than the coffee at many stands. Flavours run to dozens and rotate constantly. Electric Berry, Shark Attack, Double Rainbro and Tiger's Blood are the ones carried most consistently.

Drink Small Medium Large
Rebel, standard flavours $4.95 $5.65 $6.35
Rebel with soft top or cream $5.45 $6.15 $6.85
Rebel Freeze, blended $5.45 $6.15 $6.85

A medium Rebel carries substantially more caffeine than a medium latte and a good deal more sugar. If you want the flavour without the load, ask for it made with the sugar-free syrups and no soft top.

Freeze and Frost

The difference matters when you order. A Freeze is blended coffee, so it has caffeine. A Frost is a milkshake made with ice cream, so it does not. Both cost about the same and both come with a soft top unless you decline it.

Drink Small Medium Large
Freeze, blended coffee $5.25 $5.95 $6.65
Frost, ice cream shake $5.45 $6.15 $6.85
Frost with candy or cookie blend-in $5.95 $6.65 $7.35

Lemonades

Lemonade is the caffeine free workhorse of the menu and takes any of the flavour syrups. Ordering it half sweet is free and makes a noticeable difference.

Drink Small Medium Large
Classic Lemonade $3.25 $3.95 $4.65
Flavoured Lemonade $3.55 $4.25 $4.95
Lemonade with soft top $4.05 $4.75 $5.45

Dutch Soda

Sparkling water with flavour syrup, and the cheapest thing on the board. Adding cream turns it into an Italian cream soda for about 50 cents more.

Drink Small Medium Large
Dutch Soda, flavoured sparkling $2.25 $2.95 $3.65
Dutch Soda with cream $2.75 $3.45 $4.15
Dutch Soda with fruit $3.25 $3.95 $4.65

Tea, Chai and Cocoa

Teas come hot or iced. Chai and matcha are pre-sweetened concentrates, so ask for fewer pumps if you want them less sweet. The Not-So-Hot Cocoa on the kids menu is served warm rather than hot, which is a detail parents appreciate.

Drink Small Medium Large
Iced Tea $2.95 $3.55 $4.15
Green or Flavoured Tea $3.25 $3.95 $4.65
Hot Cocoa $3.25 $3.85 $4.45
Chai Latte $4.25 $4.95 $5.65
Matcha Latte $4.45 $5.15 $5.85
Dirty Chai, chai with espresso $4.95 $5.65 $6.35

Smoothies

Blended fruit with ice, caffeine free and thick enough to count as a snack. Strawberry, mango, wildberry, peach and green apple are the standard range.

Drink Small Medium Large
Fruit Smoothie $5.25 $5.95 $6.65
Smoothie with soft top $5.75 $6.45 $7.15

Kids Menu

Kids drinks come in a 10 ounce cup, are caffeine free and cost roughly half the small price. Every one of them can also be ordered without syrup if you want it plainer.

Item Price Notes
Not-So-Hot Cocoa $2.25 Served warm rather than hot, safe for small children
Kids Lemonade $2.49 Any flavour, caffeine free
Kids Smoothie $3.19 Blended fruit, 10 ounce cup
Kids Frost $3.19 Mini ice cream shake, no coffee

Bottled Water $2.25 Still water only
Muffin Top $2.75 The one baked item, flavours rotate

Off-Menu and Secret Orders

Dutch Bros builds every drink from syrups, so the community has invented hundreds of combinations. The stand will make anything the ingredients allow. Describe the build rather than the nickname, since names vary by region.

Nutrition Information

Dutch Bros publishes nutrition through a calculator on its website rather than printing figures on the board, and because nearly every drink is customised the published numbers only apply to the standard build. A medium Dutch Fave made with breve sits in the range of a full sugar milkshake rather than a plain latte, and adding a soft top puts another 100 to 200 calories on top. The three changes that matter most are ordering half sweet, swapping breve for milk or oat, and declining the soft top. Rebels carry both high caffeine and high sugar in the standard build.

Dutch Bros Opening Hours

Stands open early for the commute and run late, later than most coffee chains, because a large part of the Rebel business happens in the evening. Hours are set locally and change more often than at bigger chains.

Dutch Bros Menu FAQ

What are Dutch Bros sizes in ounces?

Hot drinks are 12 ounces small, 16 medium, 20 large and 24 extra large. Iced and blended drinks are 16 small, 24 medium, 32 large and 44 extra large. Kids drinks are 10 ounces in both. The extra large hot is not available at every stand.

What is a Rebel at Dutch Bros?

Rebel is the chain's own energy drink, built on the Blue Rebel base and finished with flavour syrups and fruit. A medium is about $5.65. Flavours rotate constantly and the well known ones include Electric Berry, Shark Attack and Double Rainbro.

What is in an Annihilator?

Espresso with chocolate macadamia syrup on a breve base, meaning half and half rather than milk. It is one of the two best selling Dutch Faves and costs about $5.45 for a medium. Available hot, iced or blended for the same price.

Which Dutch Bros drink has the most caffeine?

The 9-1-1, which carries six espresso shots against the usual two, followed by the Double Torture. A large Rebel also runs high. If you want caffeine without sugar, a cold brew or an americano gives you more per dollar than any of the Faves.

Does Dutch Bros have food?

Barely. There is no kitchen and no hot food. The range is limited to Muffin Tops, packaged granola bars and bottled water. There is no breakfast menu and no sandwiches.

What is the difference between a Freeze and a Frost?

A Freeze is blended coffee, so it contains caffeine. A Frost is a milkshake made with ice cream and contains none unless you add a shot. They cost roughly the same and both come with a soft top by default.

Does Dutch Bros charge extra for oat milk?

No. Oat, almond, coconut and soy are all free substitutions, as are sugar-free syrups and half sweet builds. Blending a drink is also free, which most chains charge for. Extra shots and soft tops cost about $1 each.

Is there a Dutch Bros secret menu?

There is no official one, but because every drink is built from syrups the community has created hundreds of combinations that crews recognise, including Shark Attack, Double Rainbro and Dutch Mafia. Names vary by region, so describe the build if you get a blank look.

How does Dutch Rewards work?

Points build on every purchase through the app and convert to free drinks. Members also get a free drink of any size during their birthday month, which is one of the more generous birthday offers in the industry.

What time does Dutch Bros open and close?

Most stands open at 5:00 AM and close between 10:00 PM and 11:00 PM, later than most coffee chains because the Rebel business runs into the evening. A small number stay open 24 hours. Hours are set locally so check the app.
