Every Starbucks drink and food item with current prices, cup sizes and calorie counts. Hot coffee, espresso, cold brew, Frappuccinos, Refreshers, breakfast, bakery and lunch, checked against the Starbucks app on 9 September 2026.
Starbucks prices sit higher than any other national coffee chain, and they move upward most years. What throws people is the size system: a medium is called a Grande, a large is a Venti, and the same drink can swing two dollars depending on which cup you point at. This page lists prices for all available sizes so you can see exactly where the jump happens.
Figures below are national in-store averages taken from the Starbucks app across several states. Licensed stores inside airports, hotels, supermarkets and university campuses run their own pricing and are usually 15 to 30 percent higher. Delivery through third party apps adds another markup on top of the fees.
Five sizes exist but not every size is offered on every drink. Short is hot only and is not printed on the menu board, though any store will make it. Trenta is cold only and limited to iced tea, Refreshers and cold brew. Grande is the default size the barista assumes if you do not name one.
| Size | Hot | Cold |
|---|---|---|
| Short | 8 oz | Not offered |
| Tall | 12 oz | 12 oz |
| Grande | 16 oz | 16 oz |
| Venti | 20 oz | 24 oz |
| Trenta | Not offered | 30 oz |
A Venti hot drink gets two espresso shots, the same as a Grande. A Venti iced gets three. That single detail is why ordering a Venti hot latte is poor value and a Venti iced latte is not.
Brewed coffee is the cheapest thing on the board and the only drink where a refill costs nothing if you stay in the store. Pike Place is the medium roast poured all day. Blonde Roast is lighter and higher in caffeine, which surprises people who assume dark roast is stronger.
| Drink | Tall to Venti | Calories (Grande) |
|---|---|---|
| Pike Place Roast | $2.65 to $3.25 | 5 |
| Blonde Roast | $2.65 to $3.25 | 5 |
| Decaf Pike Place Roast | $2.65 to $3.25 | 5 |
| Featured Dark Roast | $2.75 to $3.35 | 5 |
| Caffe Americano | $3.75 to $4.65 | 15 |
| Caffe Misto | $3.75 to $4.65 | 110 |
This is the core of the menu and where most of the spend goes. A latte and a cappuccino cost the same and use the same shots, the difference is milk texture: latte is steamed milk with a thin layer of foam, cappuccino is mostly foam. The Flat White uses ristretto shots, which is why it tastes sweeter without added syrup.
| Drink | Tall to Venti | Calories (Grande) |
|---|---|---|
| Espresso, solo | $2.45 | 5 |
| Espresso Macchiato | $3.25 | 15 |
| Cortado | $4.95 | 130 |
| Caffe Latte | $4.75 to $5.75 | 190 |
| Cappuccino | $4.75 to $5.75 | 140 |
| Flat White | $5.25 to $6.25 | 220 |

| Caramel Macchiato | $5.45 to $5.95 | 250 |
| White Chocolate Mocha | $5.45 to $6.45 | 430 |
Every syrup pump beyond the standard build is free to remove but costs around 80 cents to add. Asking for half the pumps is the single easiest way to cut 60 to 100 calories without changing the drink you like.
Teavana tea bags are brewed to order and a plain hot tea is the second cheapest drink on the menu. Chai and matcha both come pre-sweetened, so if you want less sugar you have to ask for fewer scoops of matcha powder or fewer pumps of chai concentrate.
| Drink | Tall to Venti | Calories (Grande) |
|---|---|---|
| Hot Tea, Teavana | $3.35 to $3.75 | 0 |
| Honey Citrus Mint Tea | $4.25 to $4.95 | 130 |
| Steamed Milk, Vanilla Creme | $3.95 to $4.75 | 280 |

| London Fog Tea Latte | $4.95 to $5.75 | 180 |
| Matcha Tea Latte | $4.95 to $5.65 | 240 |
Cold brew steeps for 20 hours without heat, which is why it tastes smoother and less acidic than iced coffee. Iced coffee is simply brewed hot and chilled, and it costs a dollar less. Nitro is cold brew pushed through nitrogen, served without ice and only in Tall and Grande.
| Drink | Tall to Venti | Calories (Grande) |
|---|---|---|
| Iced Coffee | $3.45 to $4.25 | 5 |
| Cold Brew | $4.45 to $4.95 | 5 |

| Iced Caffe Mocha | $5.45 to $6.45 | 350 |
| Iced Caramel Macchiato | $5.75 to $6.25 | 250 |
Cold brew and iced coffee are also sold in a Trenta at 30 ounces, priced around $5.25 and $4.65. The Trenta is not available for any drink containing milk or espresso.
Frappuccinos split into two families. Coffee Frappuccinos contain espresso or Frappuccino roast, Creme Frappuccinos contain none and are the caffeine free option for kids. Every one comes with whipped cream as standard, which you can decline to save 80 to 110 calories.

Refreshers are green coffee extract based, so they carry caffeine even though they taste like fruit juice. Swapping the water base for coconut milk turns a Strawberry Acai into a Pink Drink and a Mango Dragonfruit into a Dragon Drink, at about 50 cents more.

Breakfast food runs all day at Starbucks. There is no cut-off time, which is one of the few things it does better than the drive-thru chains. Everything is heated in a small convection oven, so expect a two to three minute wait even when the queue is short.

The Egg White and Roasted Red Pepper Egg Bites at 170 calories are the lowest calorie hot food on the menu, and the Spinach and Feta Wrap is the cheapest item with real protein in it.
Pastries are baked off site and delivered daily, then warmed on request at no charge. Always ask for it warmed, it makes a noticeable difference to the croissants and the coffee cake.

Lunch is the quietest part of the Starbucks menu and the part most people never look at. Protein boxes are cold and ready to go, the sandwiches are pressed and heated. Availability varies by store size, and smaller kiosk locations often carry none of it.

Starbucks runs four seasonal launches a year and the autumn one, built around the Pumpkin Spice Latte, is the biggest sales week the company has. Alongside those, a set of off-menu builds have become common enough that most baristas know them by name.
Off-menu drinks are built from ingredients the store already carries, so you are charged for each component. Describe the build rather than using the nickname if the barista does not recognise it.
Hours vary widely because so many stores sit inside other businesses. Standalone cafes open early for the commuter rush and close in the evening. Drive-thru locations usually run longer at both ends, and a small number stay open 24 hours near motorways and hospitals.
| Store Type | Opens | Closes |
|---|---|---|
| Standalone cafe, weekdays | 5:30 AM | 8:00 PM |
| Standalone cafe, weekends | 6:00 AM | 8:00 PM |
| Drive-thru locations | 5:00 AM | 10:00 PM |
| Inside supermarkets | 7:00 AM | Store close |
| Airport kiosks | 4:30 AM | Last departure |
| 24 hour locations | Always open | Always open |
Nothing cuts a Starbucks bill like the Stars programme, and paying with a preloaded card doubles the rate. Worth doing before you order:
Calories listed are for a Grande as the drink is normally built, with whole milk and standard syrup pumps. Switching to nonfat milk cuts roughly 40 calories, oat milk sits close to whole milk, and almond milk saves the most at around 60. Non-dairy milks no longer carry a surcharge. Every syrup, sauce and topping is optional, and asking for fewer pumps is free. Nutrition data comes from Starbucks published figures.
Short is 8 ounces and hot only. Tall is 12 ounces. Grande is 16 ounces. Venti is 20 ounces for hot drinks and 24 ounces for cold. Trenta is 30 ounces and only available for iced tea, Refreshers and cold brew.
A Grande Caffe Latte is $5.25 at a typical company operated store. A Grande Iced Caffe Latte is the same price. Licensed stores in airports, hotels and supermarkets charge 15 to 30 percent more.
A Tall brewed coffee at $2.65 is the cheapest drink, followed by a Tall hot tea at $3.35. A solo shot of espresso is $2.45 and is technically the lowest priced item on the drinks board.
Yes. Unlike most drive-thru chains, Starbucks serves its full breakfast menu from opening to closing. Individual items can sell out later in the day, particularly the egg bites and the popular sandwiches.
The Pink Drink is a Strawberry Acai Refresher made with coconut milk instead of water, with freeze-dried strawberries added. A Grande is $5.45 and 140 calories. It contains caffeine from green coffee extract, roughly 45mg in a Grande.
No. Starbucks removed the non-dairy milk surcharge, so oat, almond, soy and coconut milk are all free substitutions. Extra espresso shots and additional syrup pumps still carry a charge of around 80 cents to $1.
Starbucks Rewards members get free refills of hot or iced brewed coffee and tea during the same store visit, regardless of what they ordered first. The refill must be taken in store, not through the drive-thru, and does not apply to espresso drinks or Frappuccinos.
Cold brew is steeped in cold water for about 20 hours, which produces a smoother, less acidic and more caffeinated drink. Iced coffee is brewed hot and then chilled. Cold brew costs around a dollar more per size.
100 Stars covers a hot brewed coffee, hot tea or a bakery item. 200 Stars covers any handcrafted drink including Frappuccinos. 300 Stars covers a sandwich, protein box or salad. You earn 2 Stars per dollar when paying with the app or a preloaded card.
Most standalone stores open between 5:00 AM and 6:00 AM and close between 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM. Drive-thru locations usually open earliest and close latest. Stores inside supermarkets and airports follow the hours of the host business.
